The Recipe (weekly)

1-16oz pkg chopped dates
1-cup sugar sub (Splenda)
1-cup warm water
1-Tbsp flour

This is the filling. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and simmer until thickened.

1 1/3-cups Dry oatmeal (not quick cook, Old Fashion Quaker Oats)
1-cup Brown Sugar Sub. (Splenda)
1 1/2-cup Flour
1-tsp Baking Soda
3/4-cup Soft Butter (not Melted)
1-tsp Vanilla

Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl then add the butter and vanilla. Mix well. Mixture will be crumbly. Grease an 8x8 pan and spread half of the mixture in the pan, add the filing, then top with the remaining mixture. Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 350 degree over.
